Four Points By Sheraton
The Best Western Lakeway Inn project is a complete renovation from Lobby, to Pool area, and through all the Guest Rooms. Project was started in May of 2014 and is ongoing. These renovations co-inside with hotel changing brand to a Four Points by Sheraton.
Phase 1: Lobby. Scope included renovating the lobby and check in areas, updating the 20 year old previous renovation with all new finishes, including removing 40 year old skylights and installing a new standalone fireplace as the focal point of the Lobby. This phase also included complete remodel and redesign of the lobby café now called the Chinook Café. With an open layout and modern Espresso/Barista area, it is sure to please.
Phase 2: Pool Area. Scope included all new finishes in the Pool Area, adding a new uni-sex restroom, additional ventilation and on deck shower area. The new skylight system has created daylighting to almost an outdoor feel.
Phase 3: Guest rooms and hallways. Scope included complete demo and removal of all finishes, bathroom fixtures, tilework and complete asbestos abatement. Crews and subcontractors installed new wall and floor coverings, all new tile work in bathrooms on floors and wall, including 52 walk-in showers, new electrical, plumbing, doors and hardware, bar counters, and FF&E. All hallways received new fishes and extensive trim work.
All work was performed while Hotel was in full operations.
